Tire Recycling Events

2008 Tire Recycling Event Schedule
  • April 5, 2008 - San Mateo Event Center, 2495 S. Deleware Street
  • May 10, 2008 - Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce, 520 Kelly Street (Off Highway 1)
You may recycle up to four tires per voucher. Multiple vouchers may be used. The Tire Recycling Event flyer and vouchers are available for printing in the "Printable Materials" section at the top of the page.


Operation Clean Sweep

Annual Citywide Cleanup

Clean Up 2008 Please join the City of San Bruno’s Beautification Task Force and San Bruno Garbage Company for Operation Clean Sweep, with its annual Citywide Cleanup on Saturday, May 3, 2008

This event will be held rain or shine, and provides a free gift for volunteers. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. at San Bruno City Park, near the Rotary Pavilion (Gazebo).

Earth Day 2008

Clean Your Files Day

Earth Day 2008 Celebrate Earth Day by participating in San Bruno’s 8th Annual Clean Your Files Day Event, from May 12 - 16, 2008.

Recycle your home and office paper by placing it in your single-stream recycling cart and setting out on your regular service day. For large quantities of paper, please call to schedule an "extra" pickup, or place paper in paper bags or boxes and set next to your recycling cart.

- Please put shredded paper in paper bags before placing in cart.
